An Internet speed test measures important connection parameters such as download speed, upload speed, ping and jitter. Fasqoo uses these measurements to help you understand the quality of your Internet connection.

Download speed describes how quickly data can be transferred from the Internet to your device. It is normally measured in Mbps or Gbps.

Upload speed describes how quickly your device can send data to the Internet. It is important for video calls, cloud backups, streaming and uploading files.

Ping measures network response time. A lower ping generally means a faster response between your device and the test server. Low latency is especially important for online gaming and real-time communication.

Jitter measures variations in packet arrival time. High jitter can cause interruptions or unstable quality in gaming, voice calls and video meetings.

Slow Wi-Fi can be caused by distance from the router, interference, congestion, walls, old hardware or a busy wireless channel. Testing with Ethernet can help determine whether the problem is Wi-Fi or the Internet connection itself.

High gaming latency can be caused by server distance, routing, Wi-Fi interference, network congestion or bufferbloat. An Ethernet connection and a nearby game server can often improve stability.

Upload performance may be limited by your Internet plan, Wi-Fi conditions, router configuration, network congestion or the provider's upstream capacity.
